During lockdown, I’ve really missed being able to go out to eat at restaurants. Food is obviously one of my hobbies, but I’m also a rare food blogger who doesn’t really cook. For that reason, I’ve done a lot of ordering in while restaurants have been closed.
Luckily for me, there are plenty of options for ordering something delicious. My standout favourite? Emma’s Delicatessen.

This weeks menu is a Tapas feast!! Perhaps one of my favourite things to cook – I am delighted to be delivering this homemade food on Friday and Saturday I deliver to TF, WS, WV and B postcodes – this menu has proved very popular so I am going to work extra hard to prepare more menus this week – this means I have 10 more available to sell!! Send me a message or email me on email@example.com to find out more 😊😊❤️ #tapas #homemade #authentic #imafeeder
You might remember Emma from her fabulous restaurants, El Borracho de Oro and Migas. Both restaurants closed at the end of last year, but Emma is still turning out incredible food. Only now she’s doing it in her kitchen.
Each week, Emma produces a different menu (starting at just £25 for two people), for delivery around Birmingham and Shropshire on Fridays and Saturdays. During the week, there’s a standard menu of classics, like Spanish tortillas, and beautiful focaccia bread.
Weekend menus so far have included an afternoon tea, a three-course Italian date night, a picnic hamper, and of course, tapas.
As you’d expect from Emma, everything is cooked with love and skill (and plenty of garlic). On your delivery day, Emma arrives with everything carefully packaged, with a menu included with instructions on any finishing any of the dishes might need (usually just a couple of minutes in the microwave to reheat), serving suggestions, and suggestions for drink pairings.
I’ve now ordered most of the menus, and every single one has been restaurant quality and delicious. Portions are generous; each menu is designed for two, but with menus like the tapas, you could easily feed three.
If, like me, you’re missing restaurant food, and want something truly delicious to eat at home, while supporting a local business, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Emma’s Delicatessen.
